On the front of the movement, 2 black levers that in some way cause the strikes to operate. Another lever that appears to move the quarter strike hammers back for installation, similar to #2 above.Ģ. Is this for a particular function? My guess from just looking is that a string or wire can be attached, which can be pulled to move the hammers back from the chimes when installing the movement.ġ. There is what looks like an eye bolt protruding from the bar that holds the hour strike hammers. I am assuming it turns the chimes on and off by pulling down, or pushing up on it.Ģ. There is a black arm just behind the face with a wire "pull" hanging off it that allows it to be operated from under the clock face when assembled in the case. On the right side (from the rear - probably have my "sides" backwards):ġ. One question I have is in regard to the "control arms" protruding from the side of the movement as follows: (see attached photos for clarification)

I basically just dusted it off and tried to adjust one of the quarter strike hammer arms that was bent - just lined it up with the other arms in assumption that the chimes aren't misaligned. I removed the movement and identified it as a Junghans W64 92 movement. Thanks for prompt and insightful replies.
